Paddle around Horseshoe Bend on a flat water (no rapids) stretch of the Colorado River through Glen Canyon. The day starts with a motorboat ride upstream to the Glen Canyon Dam, then we'll be dropped off at Petroglyph Beach. Here we'll visit a rock art panel and set up our paddleboards and prepare to float downstream for 10 miles. We'll paddle through red canyon walls and might see wild horses, big horn sheep, blue herons and more! Along the way we'll stop to swim at red sandy beaches. 

  • Meet at Lee's Ferry (50 minutes south of Page, AZ)
  • Motor boat ride upstream (about 1 hour)
  • Hike to a petroglyph panel (10 mins)
  • Float downstream (6-7 hours)
  • End at Lee's Ferry

Meet at Lee's Ferry Boat Ramp
